Companioning Education: Levels III and IV

Process Skipping – An Online Experiential Exploration
Offered by: John Keane
When: Tuesday, April 29th, May 6th, and May 13th.  Sessions will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM Pacific Time, 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time, and 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM Irish Time each day.
Cost: $80
This program examines Process Skipping, a process identified by Eugene Gendlin and further developed by Frs. Peter Campbell and Edwin McMahon. Process Skipping is characterized by an unconscious avoidance of uncomfortable feelings or emotions. As such it can be a barrier to being lovingly present to what may need our attention. By understanding and addressing Process Skipping behaviors, individuals can find freedom from control and domination, engaging more authentically with reality.
Program Structure:
  1. Personal Exploration: Participants will identify their own Process Skipping behaviours.
  2. Cultural Context: Examination of how cultural structures influence Process Skipping.
  3. Alternative Perspectives: Investigating love and its embodiment as alternatives to control and dominance.
This program is designed for those with prior BioSpirituality experience, such as completion of a book study course or similar program.
By exploring these processes, participants will gain insights into how avoiding important feelings and emotions can distance us from our own felt experiencing (which can lead to various kinds of addictions). Opening potential pathways to healing, personal growth and a healthy spirituality…
